Last night was a blast!

 

Arriving at rehearsal, we were greeted by two strangers in the practice room. Two lovely chaps from One Song Gig.

 

They were the lovely Andy and Danny, and they had been busy.

We made our way into the practice space and stopped in awe. It had all been changed! It felt different….and special.

All the gear was set up as you would see on a stage, and directly opposite were a camera-on-tripod, and a big old light. The guys were here from One Song Gig to record us doing a tune that they would film, then post on their site. Going by their title, you understand of course this is a one song take, no overdubs, no fluffs, bum notes or burping.

The nerves gave a small jangle of excitement right about then, and it suddenly felt very professional, cool, slick and fun!

 

We hopped on ‘set’ and ran thru our tune to set levels. It sounded good. We did a take, then quickly squeezed another cheeky wee track in.

All too soon it was over, the gear packed away and Andy and Danny bid us farewell and fled into the night. Their work here was over.
