6th July 2013 - The Deadly Winters and Adriana Spina, Strathyre.

The Winters, after playing the first ever Strathyre Festy in June, have been asked back to headline their own night in July, appearing with other Strathyre Festy favourite, Adriana Spina.

 

They both take to the village hall, where a few other support acts will start the night off, and a ceilidh band will continue unto the wee hours.

And all for only £5.

Having been invited back by Lach, the winters are chuffed to be appearing at his Songwriters Circle Fringe Show in August.

29th October 2013 - Perthshire Amber – The Dougie Maclean Festival, Dunkeld.

 

 

After our debut last year at the Open Mic, we are over the moon to announce we have been invited to play a full set at the Caberet Amber stage!!!

The Perthshire Amber Festival brings together many musicians and entertainers from different parts of the world who have been involved with Dougie MacLean over the years. It also provides an opportunity for him to perform little heard songs, as well as well known favourites! From the first festival in 2005 Dougie has delivered, (as far as earthly possible!) his promise of “no song repeated”!!

Over the 7 years of it’s existence Perthshire Amber has developed from a weekend of concerts to a 10 day festival packed full of music and much much more. It is now an important part of Scotland’s musical calendar and an event that all of Perthshire can be proud of.
